Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use lunaviolet.co, operated by Forty Five North Media ("we", "us"). By using the site or buying a reading, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What a Reading Is

Luna Violet calculates your natal chart from the birth date, time and place you provide, and produces a written astrological reading based on it. The chart calculation is mathematical. The interpretation is a work of astrological writing.

What a Reading Is Not

Readings are provided for entertainment and reflective purposes only. They are not a substitute for licensed medical, legal, psychological, financial, or professional advice, and they are not a prediction of what will happen to you. Nothing in a reading is a diagnosis, a prognosis, a treatment recommendation, or financial guidance.

Always consult a qualified professional for matters affecting your wellbeing. If you are in crisis, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis line rather than relying on a reading.

Where a reading discusses fertility, conception timing, or creative "windows", those describe astrological conditions only. They are not medical information, they say nothing about your actual fertility, and they must not be used to plan or avoid conception. Speak to a doctor.

Where a reading discusses money, career or property, it is not investment, tax or financial advice. Where it discusses relationships, it is not couples therapy or legal advice.

Readings Are Written With AI Assistance

Luna Violet readings are generated with the assistance of an AI model. Your placements are computed astronomically and the model writes the interpretation from them, which is what allows each reading to follow one chart rather than a pre-written template.

Because the text is model-generated, it may occasionally contain errors, inconsistencies, or statements that do not fit you. It is not reviewed line by line by an astrologer before delivery. Read it as reflection, not as fact, and tell us if something looks wrong.

Accuracy of the Rising sign in particular depends on your birth time being correct to within a few minutes. If your birth time is approximate, treat the Rising sign and house placements as approximate too.

Who May Use It

You must be at least 18 years old. If you enter someone else's birth details - for a gift, or out of curiosity - you confirm you are entitled to use that information.

Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. Give us an email address you actually control, since it is how readings and verification codes reach you. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.

We may suspend or close an account that abuses the service, attempts to interfere with the site or its rate limits, tries to manipulate the reading generator, or uses Luna Violet unlawfully.

Purchases & Subscriptions

Prices are shown on the site in US dollars and may change; the price shown at checkout is the price you pay. Payments are handled by Stripe - we never receive your card number.

One-time readings are a single purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically for the period shown at checkout until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time from your account or by emailing us; cancellation stops future renewals and does not retroactively refund a period already served.

Readings are digital goods delivered immediately, and page counts shown on the site are typical lengths rather than guarantees. Delivery timing and refunds are set out in Delivery & Refunds, which forms part of these terms.

Follow-Up Questions

Some tiers include a stated number of written follow-up questions answered by email. The number included is shown on that reading's card. Follow-ups are answered as astrological reflection on the same basis as the reading itself, within a reasonable time, and are subject to the same limitations set out above.

Intellectual Property

The site, its design, the calculation engine and the reading templates belong to us. Your reading is yours: you may keep it, print it, and share it. Please do not resell readings, present them as your own commercial product, or use our name or branding to imply we endorse something.

Disclaimers & Liability

The service is provided "as is". We do not warrant that a reading will be accurate, that the site will be uninterrupted, or that generation will always succeed. Where generation fails we may deliver a reading produced by a deterministic fallback rather than the AI model.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any decision you make on the basis of a reading, or for indirect or consequential loss. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the reading concerned. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing here affects your statutory consumer rights.

Governing Law

These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of the site, are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You and Forty Five North Media agree that the state and federal courts located in Florida have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute.

Nothing here removes a right you hold under the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in. If you are a consumer outside the United States, you keep any protection your local law gives you that cannot be contracted away.

Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date above will change, and if an update materially affects you we will notify account holders by email. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept it.
